Physical security What does that mean? Providing measures to prevent unauthorised access and to prevent damage, theft, misuse of assets, unauthorised interference with them and disruption of the security of the provision of the regulated service. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI We control physical access to the datacenter through a system of electronic tags. The datacenter is divided into security perimeters. 24/7 monitoring and supervision. We use a surveillance camera system with recording.
Communication network security What does that mean? Providing communication network segmentation, including separation of individual environments, control of communication within the communication network, remote access to the communication network, remote management of technical assets. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI The service is operated in a network environment separate from other services. Arbor DDoS Detection & Defense is implemented. VPN Fortinet can be implemented.
Managing access rights and permissions What does that mean? Control of access rights to individual assets and control of permissions to read and write information and data and to change permissions. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI It varies depending on the specific service provided, namely the level of physical security, filtering of IP addresses according to GeoIP, two-factor authentication.
Cyber security event detection What does that mean? The use of a centrally managed cyber security event detection tool with continuous protection against malicious code. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI EDR probes are implemented, assets are connected to the SIEM, user access compromise detection is used.
Event logging What does that mean? Logging of security and relevant operational events and ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of the information obtained, including protection against unauthorised reading and any alteration. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI All relevant assets are connected to the SIEM (Security Information and Event Management). Access to logs is restricted by logical accesses.
Cyber security event evaluation What does that mean? Evaluation of cybersecurity events to identify cybersecurity incidents. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI Cybersecurity event and incident management according to ISO 27035 is implemented. We have our own CSIRT team.
Application security What does that mean? Providing permanent protection of applications, information, transactions and transmitted session identifiers from unauthorized activity. Providing asset vulnerability scanning. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI Processes are implemented for scanning/penetration testing of relevant applications/assets. EDR probes are implemented. Assets/applications connected to SIEM.
Cryptographic algorithms What does that mean? Use of only currently resilient cryptographic algorithms to secure electronic communications and to protect technical assets and the communications network. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI The communication is encrypted via the currently resilient SSL/TLS. Possibility to implement VPN. DNSSEC implementation.
Providing availability of the regulated service What does that mean? Ensuring service availability, resilience to threats and vulnerabilities, asset redundancy. Backup of configuration, information and data. Fulfilment of the criterion by FORPSI Depending on the type of service, for example, real-time data replication, data backup and configuration to geographically separated locations, redundancy of assets (electricity, connectivity, storage).

Why NIS2?

The growing threat of cyber attacks

As the number of cyber-attacks increases, the risk to states and organisations increases. Hackers are using increasingly sophisticated methods to breach defences and obtain sensitive data.

The need to strengthen cyber security

In order for states to counter this threat, security standards need to be raised. This means modernising protection measures, investing in technology and raising awareness of cyber defence.

The extension of the circle of obliged subjects

In addition to government institutions, it is important that other actors such as private companies and infrastructure providers are involved in protection. Collective prevention and cooperation can significantly reduce the impact of cyber threats.
