What types of SSL certificates do you offer? Our offer includes DV (domain validation) SSL certificates from Certificate Authorities Actalis, RapidSSL, and GeoTrust. We do not provide OV (organization validation), EV (extended validation), or certificates from other Certificate Authorities outside our offer.
How long does it take to issue an SSL certificate? Most DV SSL certificates are issued within approximately one hour. It depends on how quickly the applicant confirms validation and how fast the Certificate Authority completes verification.
How can I help speed up the SSL certificate issuance process as a customer? If you have webhosting and a domain with our company, it is important that both services are under the same customer account and that the domain points to FORPSI DNS servers. In this case, all necessary steps are performed automatically and you will only receive confirmation once the installation is complete.
Do I need a separate SSL certificate for each subdomain? No. If you also have subdomains created under your main domain, simply choose a Wildcard SSL certificate, which secures the main domain and all created subdomains.
Why is it necessary to create a new CSR request when renewing an SSL certificate? More frequent CSR replacements are a direct consequence of shorter SSL certificate validity periods. The goal is higher security. Therefore, with every renewal it is necessary to generate a new key pair (private and public) and create a new CSR request. Without a new CSR request, the SSL certificate cannot be renewed.
Is it necessary to provide a new CSR request for every renewal and installation of an SSL certificate on your own server? Yes. Without a new CSR request, the SSL certificate cannot be renewed. When we need a new CSR request, we will send instructions to the customer's contact email address.
Is it possible to add additional domains to an existing SAN SSL certificate? Unfortunately, no. Once a SAN SSL certificate has been issued, it is not possible to add additional domains. The number of domains remains fixed once the certificate is issued.
